Acrylic on paper, 16" x 20"
Membership is open, and the dress code is sweet. A row of beach cabanas has popped up on the pink sand, each dressed in its own pattern: gingham, stripes, florals, polka dots, hearts, and a cherry-topped dome that looks good enough to eat. Pennant flags wave, beach balls are ready for a game, and out in the turquoise water a few shark fins explain why every member is happy to stay on shore. Full of pattern, color, and a wink of humor, this piece brings a summer escape to a living room, sunroom, or beach house wall all year long.
This is the only large original from my beach cabana series available right now. One of a kind, signed by the artist.
